Natalie has spent most of her career defending companies in employment and labor matters both as a litigator and as in-house counsel. Prior to joining Macias Law, Natalie held a nearly seven-year tenure as the Associate General Counsel overseeing the legal operations of several companies in highly complex regulated industries. Managing a heavy litigation docket through various acquisitions and mergers, she was the first line of defense for all-things employment law and worked closely with executives to oversee 500+ employees. She regularly advises on all types of employment issues, including insurance compliance and litigation, policies and procedures, risk and exposure management, terminations, and union relations.
Natalie understands the value of a nimble and practical approach when evaluating a client’s legal issues and crafting a course of path forward. She sees the “whole picture” for corporate and individual clients, thinking through today’s issues and considering the future impact to business and careers alike.
Natalie is driven by fairness and justice. Her passion for helping individuals, especially professional women facing legal issues stemming from societal obstacles such as harassment and unequal pay, inspired her to join Macias Law to practice on both sides of the table.
Natalie is a key member of the firm’s personal injury practice and regularly leverages her experience defending professional sports teams (the Oakland Raiders) in workplace injuries to litigate on behalf of clients.
In her free time, Natalie loves spending time with her family. Family passions include baseball, travel, and bulldogs.
